1. Any feedback on discounts for visually impaired people? I teach writing, of all things, and vision issues are a daily drain. I have had cataracts removed, lens implants, laser treatments for floaters. I wear multi focal glasses, and now am trying multi focal contacts…….. but NOTHING will ever reduce the tedium of the hugh floaters that still obstruct my vision. I was allowed to take an Ipad home to work with over the summer, as my school got a few through a grant and they wanted the teachers to become familiar with them. I loved it! However, I also have 2 teenagers who need to go to college! Any suggestions about assistive technology?
