My Roving Eye – Windows, Doors, Wheels and Wanderlust in Paris

I’m feeling very nostalgic today. Maybe because it’s spring, maybe because I’ve just discovered some photos I thought were lost – but my mind and heart are back in Paris, where I was two years ago…wandering.

I’m not saying that I didn’t do the touristy things – of course, my friends and I saw the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. But my very favourite memories are of simply walking around various neighbourhoods with my camera, taking in the wonderful architecture, the shops, the street vendors and the living, breathing personality of this gorgeous city in my own unique way. My #EyeOpener – Paris was very accessible, the city buses and Metro are a terrific way of getting to know a city – and it’s a great way of meeting the locals!

And someday I will go back. There are so many more photos to take.

Here are some of my favourite shots. I hope you enjoy them.
